Elmer Walter Pehrson photograph album and papers, 1906-1957 (inclusive), 1914-1918 (bulk).

The photograph album, kept during his four years at Stanford, includes images of faculty (James Perrin Smith, Cyrus Fisher Tolman, David Starr Jordan, John Casper Branner, Austin Flint Rogers, and Hayes Wilson Young); Geology and Mining Society group portraits; dorm rooms in Encina Hall; several Frosh-Soph Tie-Up events; Roughs Day; bonfires during Big Game; the Assay Lab on campus; 1918 graduation; individual students; and summer hikes (or possibly surveying trips). There are also images of family, Pehrson's military unit, and several from his early jobs. Other items in the album include an original ink sketch by L. Mabel Lawson "Mumm's the Word" (a coed in a champagne class); sketches by Monk Antrim from the CHAPARRAL; and dance cards from Encina At-Homes 1917-18. Other items in the collection include correspondence re jobs, 1920-23; clippings, 1943-50; a photo of Pehrson, 1954; and a copy of THE MOST POPULAR COLLEGE SONGS (1906).
